Description
Part of the “In the Old Days” product line, these figurines depict “Daejanggeum” and a courty lady. “Daejanggeum” was an orphaned kitchen cook who went on to become the king’s first female physician during times when women had little social influence.
Carefully made and painted by hand, they’re enjoyed in Korea not only as collector figurines but also as educational items for children to learn about the past.
