The Tomb of King Muryeong (r. 501-523), the 25th ruler of Baekje (18 BCE – 660 CE), and his consort was excavated in 1971, leading to the discovery of many precious artifacts, including these gold diadem ornaments, which were originally attached to King Muryeong’s crown. Gold diadem ornaments from the king’s crown (National Treasure No.154 – top) and the Queen’s Crown (National Treasure No.156 – bottom) are laid out on the bookmark.
