At the end of the line hangs a small pendant with the Chinese character ‘bok’ which means fortune.

The main design is a bokjori which is originally a rice/grain strainer made out of bamboo. Often a pair was hung on walls and pillars to symbolize good fortune and luck for the upcoming new year.
